The President of MPH since its inception, he led the growth of the healthcare enterprise to what it is today. He is also a Director at Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC) and is the Chairman and Director of most of MPH’s hospitals. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management.
Jose Noel C. de la Paz
Director
With over 25 years of combined commercial and investment banking experience, among which were with First Chicago and Bankers Trust Company. He joined the Metro Pacific hospital group in 2007 to spearhead its mergers and acquisitions mandate.
Reymundo S. Cochangco
Treasurer
The Chief Financial Officer of MPH since its inception, he has over 30 years of experience in finance, treasury, controllership, audit, and business operations.
Celso Bernard G. Lopez

With over 16 years of treasury and investment banking experience, he joined the Metro Pacific Group in 2012 and was responsible for the successful bid and roll out of the Automatic Fare Collection System Public Private Partnership Program of the Republic of the Philippines. He joined MPH in 2016 to spearhead mergers and acquisitions in Mindanao. He is concurrently the President & CEO of the Mindanao Cluster of Hospitals and is responsible for Key Strategic Initiatives that impact all of MPH.
Dr. Harish Pillai
Director
Dr. Harish Pillai joined Metro Pacific Hospital Health ( MPH ) as its Chief Executive Officer since October 2021. MPH manages the largest private health care network in the Philippines with 23 hospitals and 4015 beds, 2 allied healthcare colleges, a growing primary care network with 28.
Outpatient Care Centers, Oncology centres and a Central laboratory. Before joining Metro Pacific. Dr. Harish had helped in strategizing and managing large- scale healthcare organizations that have helped deliver consistent results in clinical, service and business excellence in countries like India , Egypt and UAE .He was previously the CEO of Aster India, a unit of Aster DM Healthcare and was responsible for the network of 14 hospitals with 4573 beds spread across 5 states, a stand-alone laboratory chain, retail pharmacy and home care. One amongst the most influential leaders in the healthcare industry in Asia and MENA regions , Dr. Harish Pillai was a member of the Joint Commission International (JCI) Standards Advisory Panel for six years ; Convenor International Advisory Cell of Association of Healthcare Providers (AHPI); Past National Chair for Medical Value Travel Committee in Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI); visiting faculty at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management , Indian Institute of Management – Bangalore & Kozhikode , Indian School of Business , Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) . He was recently selected by the Philippines President’s Office to join the Private Sector Advisory Council – PSAC for Healthcare.

Joseph Michael D. Nepomuceno
Chief Executive Officer
He started his career in the industry as a Medical Physicist at Davao Doctors Hospital in 2008. In his 12 years there, he assumed progressively bigger leadership roles, including Hospital Administrator.He transferred to St. Elizabeth Hospital Inc. in General Santos City in 2021 where, as Chief Revenue Officer and Ancillary Head, he led the institutionalization of a successful referral marketing business.
As a way of paying forward and sharing his knowledge, he mentors future leaders as a member of the graduate school faculty of both Ateneo de Davao University and Davao Doctors College. He was recently named Chief Executive Officer of West Metro Medical Center in Zamboanga City. In his free time, JM likes going on trips and hikes, especially adventures with new people. Some days he prefers to sit back and watch the day go by with his pet Siberian husky, Malt.
Armando A. Lorenzo Jr., MD
Chief Medical Officer
A Caviteño with the heart of a Zamboangueño. Joined the company as consultant in the department of Otorhinolaryngology in 2011 He had become chairman of the same department when he assumed the role of the Chief Medical Officer of West Metro Medical Center. He is a fellow of the Philippine Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery since December 2011.
Wilhelmina I. Hocson, MD
Chief System Process and Quality Officer
She is responsible for embedding system and process thinking in the company’s strategic directions. Fosters a culture of continuous quality improvement, ensuring that processes evolve in alignment with organisational objectives and market demands. Also develops and oversees implementation of patient safety and infection prevention and control programs in the hospital. With a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration, she learned a great deal from her experience as the Chief Medical Officer of West Metro from 2015-2019.

An experienced financial executive of multi-national consumer brand prior to joining West Metro Medical Center in 2019 as Finance Controller. She was appointed Chief Finance Officer in 2021 leading West Metro’s finance division in aligning with the overall network strategies. Currently leading the Revenue and Ancillary units in implementing plans and strategies to grow the business.
Arcel C. Perez
Chief Finance Officer
A seasoned financial executive serving as the Chief Finance Officer at West Metro. She joined the organization as Financial Controller in March 2022. With a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years, she has honed her financial expertise through roles in retail, as well as multinational financial and shared services firms. Her strong background in Finance propelled her to her current role.Â
Monabelle B. Delgado
Chief Marketing Officer
She joined West Metro Medical Center soon after it opened in 2015, bringing with her 18 years of public communications experience. She oversees brand and marketing campaigns that led to West Metro outperforming competitors in a 2023 national hospital brand awareness and usage survey. Her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Ateneo de Zamboanga University and Master of Arts in Journalism degree from Ateneo de Manila University come together well in her work for the hospital.
Maureene B. Lahaman
 Information and Technology Division Head
With extensive experience in the IT industry, she has become a respected leader, known for her skills and competencies in IT operations and management, systems design, and web technologies. Her commitment to education and advocacy shines through her role as an associate professor, where she passionately promotes ICT education and development. Holding a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Ateneo de Manila University, she combines a strong academic foundation with a genuine dedication to excellence and continuous learning.
Eric L. Astillero
Chief Nursing Officer
The Chief Nursing Officer joined West Metro Medical Center as Project Management Officer in 2023. In August of the same year, he was appointed as the Chief Nursing Officer, a position he currently holds. He has 17 years of academic and clinical nursing experience, having worked in both hospital and pre-hospital care facilities locally and abroad.
Honey Mae G. Cruz

Joined West Metro in 2022 as recruitment officer, promoted to training and development officer four months later, and Senior Human Resource Officer two years later. Prior to West Metro, she has five years of experience in human resource management, specifically talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.

Registered Electrical Engineer with over 10 years of engineering and facilities maintenance experience in the manufacturing, commercial, and hospital industries.
Guadelynn S. Duldulao
Project Management Officer
Her extensive stint as professional registered nurse here and abroad honed her hospital leadership skills across various roles including Infection Prevention and Control as well as Wound Care at a JCI-accredited hospital.  Soon after joining West Metro in 2015, she established the Infection Control Unit and went on to assume progressively bigger leadership roles including Quality Assurance Officer and now Project Management Officer. She is pursuing a master’s degree in Hospital Administration at San Pedro College in Davao City.
Eden E. Morales
 Compliance and Risk Management Head
She joined West Metro in 2018 as a Marketing Officer and has since embraced new challenges, taking on the role of Data Protection Officer in 2021. Currently, she serves as Compliance Officer and leads the Compliance and Risk Management Office. In this position, she ensures regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of integrity and ethical behavior throughout the organization.
